Why Natural Gas?
A Smart Financial Choice
Natural gas is the most economical energy source available for water heating, home heating, cooking, fireplaces and even clothes drying or gas lighting. From the place where it is extracted from the ground, to appliances used in your home, natural gas achieves 92 percent efficiency.
Natural Gas is Stable
It’s projected to be 1/2 to 1/3 the price of other fuels through 2050, according to the American Gas Association.

A Safe, Dependable Fuel Source
Natural gas is delivered through an underground pipeline system that provides a continuous supply, so energy is always there when you need it. You don’t need a storage tank on your property and there’s no need to worry about running out or refilling a tank.
UniSource Energy Services has a long track record of reliability to our customers, closing 2024 with zero service outages. In addition to ongoing investments in modernizing and improving our gas infrastructure, we monitor our system around-the-clock and conduct regular inspections of our pipelines. That attention to detail ensures the safety and security of our infrastructure, while also making sure our system remains ready to meet our customers energy needs today and into the future.
