Agencies Supported

UniSource supports dozens of nonprofit agencies and groups throughout Coconino, Mohave, Navajo, Santa Cruz, and Yavapai Counties. These are just a few of the nonprofit groups benefiting from our financial contributions and volunteer support:

Coconino County – Flagstaff

• Flagstaff Family Food Center – We support the food center’s programs, which include daily hot meals and sack lunches, emergency food box distribution, food rescue, and childhood literacy.
• Northland Family Help Center - We help traumatized children receive compassionate care. This agency’s mission is to provide a safe haven, advocacy, counseling, and education to promote and restore healthy family relationships.

Mohave County – Kingman

• Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council of Mohave County - This agency works to meet the needs of veterans and their families and to advocate for progress on issues affecting veterans.
• Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter – The organization provides financial and volunteer support to homeless, ill, injured, and abandoned animals of Mohave County.  Funds support the continued subsidization of the adoption fee for those who may not otherwise be able to afford adoption.

Mohave County – Lake Havasu City

• Havasu Together - Youth Markets provide a biannual platform for young entrepreneurs to present and sell their own creations.
• The Clothes Closet – The organization provides free clothing, showers, and laundry services, while offering a space of hope, dignity, and respect. This connects individuals and families with vital resources that support their well-being, stability, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Navajo County – Show Low

• Pinetop Lakeside Senior Citizens – The organization provides food for local residents at the White Mountain Community Center, often two meals a day through a hot-meal program featuring a full-service soup and salad bar.
• Show Low Main Street – Our support strengthens and revitalizes Downtown Show Low and the greater White Mountains region. The organization’s  work centers on community development, economic vitality, beautification, and local business support.

Santa Cruz County – Nogales

• Rebuilding Together Santa Cruz County, Inc. – The group supports the rehabilitation of homes to make them safe and energy efficient for low-income families.
• Constructing Circles of Peace/Construyendo Circulos de Paz – We support the Nogales Bike Classic, where the proceeds support nonprofit programs that serve youth, families, and underserved communities in the region

Yavapai County – Cottonwood

• Low Income Student Aid (L.I.S.A.) – The group meets the growing demand for essential student support across the Verde Valley. Many students in these areas face barriers to learning due to poverty, housing instability, and limited access to basic resources such as clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and school supplies, as well as academic and extracurricular opportunities.
• Arizona Junior Rodeo Association – The statewide organization, which has been in existence for over 50 years, is committed and dedicated to developing Arizona’s youth in the sport of rodeo, along with sportsmanship and responsibility.

Yavapai County - Prescott

• Agape House of Prescott – Our unding provides support to expand long-term transitional housing for those who are without a residence.
• United States Veterans Initiative (U.S. VETS - Prescott) – The culinary education program plays a crucial role in empowering veterans to build skills and pursue employment opportunities.
