Through local partnerships we are able to improve the quality of life in Arizona. To request contributions, please review the information below.
UES' corporate philanthropy has helped local nonprofit agencies improve the quality of life in our community. Each year UES contributes to the community through employee volunteerism and financial contributions. We are proud of the generous time and efforts our employees donate. Supporting local initiatives each year remains an integral aspect of our company.
UES supports and empowers employee volunteerism through our innovative, award-winning Community Action Team (CAT) program. Guided by regional steering committees and staffed by community relations, CAT provides connections and support for UES employees to volunteer their time and expertise throughout the community. CAT aligns employees looking to donate their time and effort with community partners, nonprofits, and organizations who need volunteers.

Unfortunately, we cannot grant all requests for donations submitted to our company. UES reviews the following factors in granting requests:

UES has a strict non-solicitation policy—employees may not fundraise for their charity or event at work or using workplace resources. When employees choose to support a nonprofit fundraiser (such as a charity walk), the company will donate to the charity in place of employees paying/raising a participation fee.
UES' most valuable resource is our employees. The company encourages employees to participate in community leadership by serving on the board or a committee of a nonprofit organization.
Employees serving in governance positions should contact the Director of Community Relations to explore resources that may be available to their agency. In general, the company will give some level of contribution in support of volunteer leadership, grant higher priority for donation of in-kind services (such as printing and salvage equipment) and seek employee input on agency grant or volunteer requests.
