Warm Spirit
For just a few cents, you can feel the WARM SPIRIT of giving, and help a family in crisis struggling to make ends meet.
Staying on top of utility bills puts a significant burden on low-income individuals and families. Your Warm Spirit donation can ease the cost of energy bills for people who might need a little extra help to avoid disconnection, and ultimately homelessness.
How Warm Spirit Works
You can sign up to either "round up" your electric bill to the next dollar, or pledge an even dollar amount to contribute each month. Your UES bill will automatically reflect your round-up or pledge. UES will forward your donation to the non-profit Home Energy Assistance Fund, which distributes the money to eligible households identified by Community Action agencies whose mission it is to serve our state’s low-income population.
No contributions are used to administer the program. All donations are tax deductible and you may cancel your participation at any time by sending an e-mail to warmspirit@uesaz.com or by putting a note in your next electric bill payment.
How to Become a Warm Spirit Donor
To sign up for the Warm Spirit program, please visit Account Manager and fill out an online form to sign up for the program to begin helping families in need.
